A modern interpretation of the beloved Irish Chain
One repeating block. Five Cascade colors. Endless possibilities.
Cascade takes the familiar Irish Chain and gives it a fresh, modern twist. Using a simple strip-piecing technique, the blocks come together to create a beautiful sense of movement as the five colors cascade across the quilt. Whether you choose a rainbow of colors, a carefully coordinated palette or fabrics from your stash, Cascade gives you plenty of room to make the design your own.
Make it your way
Cascade is designed around six fabrics - 1 background fabric and 5 fabrics for the Cascade
The five Cascade fabrics don’t need to follow a traditional light-to-dark progression. Think about movement, contrast and color, solids, batiks and prints can all work beautifully.
And because the design is built from a repeatable block, you can choose the size that works for you.

I’ve included clear cutting instructions and a single block method for those quilt sizes where you need a few extra blocks.
