Quilts for Cardiac kids is a nonprofit that donates handmade quilts in varying sizes to the Pediatric Cardiac unit at Duke Hospital.  Gifting a quilt to a child in the hospital suffering heart failure will help the child feel loved, feel more positive, and experience a feeling of comraderie in their fight.
